The Sacrament of Confirmation is offered in the Diocese of Erie during 9th grade.  For all information regarding preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation,

First Reconciliation is received in 2nd grade.  Those interested in participating must attend religious education classes on Sunday mornings.  Parent Meeting will be held on January 12th at 9:50 am.  Please bring Baptismal Certificate if the child was not baptized at St. Joseph / BOL. The mandatory retreat is taking place at St. Joseph's Community Center on Saturday, March 16th, 2022 starting at 9:50 am. The sacrament is received after the retreat in the Church.  Please join us in praying for our Reconciliation candidates as they prepare to experience an outpouring of God's mercy. First Holy Communion is received in 3rd grade.  Those interested in participating must attend religious education classes on Sunday mornings.  Parent Meeting will be held on February 16th at 9:50 am. The mandatory retreat is taking place at St. Joseph's Community Center on April 13th, 2022 starting at 9:50am, and the sacrament will be received for Sacred Heart on April 27th at 8:45 am Mass, St Joseph's Bread of Life on April 27th at 10:45am Mass, and St Peter's on May 4th mass time TBD.  Please join us in praying for our Communion candidates as they prepare to receive the body and blood of Jesus.  For more information on the sacrament itself, please click below.
